Dance classes in Mackay, Queensland

International Dance Affair is unique in Mackay as it caters for seven dance forms. Dance classes are taught in Irish, Highland, Hip Hop, Junior Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Baton Twirling in their fully air-conditioned studios. Dancing at International Dance Affair my be taken for fun, fame or fitness.

All dance teachers are fully qualified and are constantly updating their knowledge to provide the dancers with the latest in dance trends. The timetable is structured so that each class is taught by a dance teacher who specializes in that particular dance form. This will ensure that your child is getting the best possible tuition in their chosen dance form.

Dancers are also prepared for Eisteddfods as well as local, state and national dancing competitions. Dancers have the opportunity to enter for IDC Grade Examinations (Irish Dancing), BAL&NDAA Examinations (Highland Dancing), CSTD Examinations (Ballet, Tap, Jazz). Dancers also perform in many shows and displays throughout the year.

IDA showcases it's annual concert at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre annually in September. The concert features an array of dance and talent performed by our local students.
