Sewing classes in Cairns, Qld

Class and Course Finder would like to give Sew Yourself Silly a warm welcome to the website. If you are looking for a sewing class in Cairns, look no further.

Sew Yourself Silly, owner and operated by Sajeela Jamie, offers sewing and pattern making classes. “Learn to sew, have fun, create your own unique style, save money while looking good...make it yourself!” People of all ages are welcome!

At this time they only take 2 students per class. At Sew Yourself Silly, Sajeela believes that sewing should be fun and rewarding from the beginner to the advanced.

With this in mind they have constructed a course of six lessons to get you started or to improve your exisiting sewing skills. You can bring your own sewing machine or you can use one of mine. If you have existing sewing skills, the lessons can be adjusted to suit your level of experience. From beginner sewing lessons to advanced sewing tuition - you are in good hands with Sew Yourself Silly.

For the beginner:
The aim is to keep things simple and make something new to take home from each lesson. If you did not finish the piece in class it should be easy enough for you to finish at home. You will be making a basic pattern to fit your size. The pattern you have made belongs to you so there is nothing stopping you from making more of the same at home. The style you make will depend on whether you are new to sewing or already have some experience. Sajeela can help you choose styles and colours that will suit your body type and make you look your best.
